NYSC Important Notice to 2018 Batch 'C' Prospective Corps Members

The Management of National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform all 2018 Batch ‘C’ prospective Corps Members deployed to Kaduna State that the commencement of the Orientation Course earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 23rd October, 2018 has been suspended till further notice due to the current security situation and consequent curfew imposed by the State Government.

All affected prospective Corps Members are advised to remain at home until further notice from the NYSC Management.

However, all other prospective Corps Members deployed to other States and FCT are to report at the various orientation camps on Tuesday, 23rd October, 2018 as scheduled.

This is to inform PCMs posted to Yobe, Gombe & Borno States, that they should reprint their call-up letters and make sure the camp address bear the following respectively.

“Col of Admin and Business Studies Potiskum, Yobe State”.

“NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, Science Technical College, Amada, KM 21, Gombe-Bauchi Highway, Near International Airport, Gombe State”.

“Col. of Peace and Disaster Mgt. Nig. Security and Defence Corps, Babbar-ruga, Batsari road, Katsina, Katsina State”.

This is to inform PCMs that graduated from Mono/Polytechnics that their National Diploma (ND) certificate will be presented with other relevant documents as precondition for Camp Registration at the Orientation Camps.

This is to inform all prospective corps members (2018 Batch ‘C’) that they can now check the Senate / Academic Board approved mobilization list of their various institutions on the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) portal.

How to Check NYSC Senate Approved List.

  1. Go to NYSC Senate / Academic Board list portal at: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/VerifySenateLists.aspx.
  2. Select your Institution.
  3. Supply your Matriculation Number and Surname in the required columns.
  4. Select your date of birth.
  5. Finally, click the ‘SEARCH’ button to access your mobilization status.

NYSC 2018 Batch C Senate Mobilization ListNB: Uploading of names is still ongoing. If your name is yet to be uploaded on the portal, your school might still be in the process of uploading. So you can keep checking back. Any complaint should be directed to your institution without delay.

NYSC Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course 2018In this article you will be given detail information about NYSC Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course, Registration Requirements, Location and Addresses of Orientation Camps Nationwide and other necessary updates for free.

NYSC Batch 'B' Orientation Course 2018

The NYSC Management wishes to inform prospective Corps members and other stakeholders that the 2018 Batch ‘B’ Orientation course will commence on Tuesday, 24th July, 2018.

A.) The NYSC Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course is scheduled to commence in all the NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide as follows:

  • Commencement of Registration – Tuesday, 24th July, 2018.
  • Cut-off date for Registration – 12 Midnight, Wednesday, 25th July, 2018.
  • Swearing-In Ceremony – Thursday, 26th July, 2018.
  • Official Closing Ceremony – Monday, 13th August, 2018.

B.) All prospective corps members slated for the 2018 Batch ‘B’ Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective Camps as stated on their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the Camp with their travelling Passport for Identification as well as their Transcript for verification.

C.) In the event of any loss of Call-up Letter, the Corps member who collected the Call-up letter from his/her Institution is advised to obtain Police Report and Sworn Affidavit, thereafter, report to the Institution of graduation for further necessary action. Those who initially printed their Call-up Letters on-line can re-print the Call-up Letters as many times as they want in the case of loss.

Registration Requirements.

  • Original Call-up Letter or Call-up Letter printed on-line
  • Statement of Result endorsed by authorized officer with authentic signature.
  • School Identity Card, including travelling Passport for Foreign-trained graduates.
  • Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Optometrists are to produce evidence of Registration with their Professional Bodies.
  • Prospective Corps members should go to Camp with Functional Account Number and Bank Verification Number (BVN) to facilitate online payment of entitlements.
  • In addition, each prospective corps member MUST present Certificate of Fitness from a Government or Military Hospital showing his/her health status before he/she will be registered and admitted for the orientation course.

How to Print NYSC Batch ‘B’ Call-Up Letter

This is to inform the entire 2018 Batch ‘B’ prospective corps members that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has opened the portal for printing of call up letters.

Prospective Corps members are expected to log on to the NYSC Portal to commence printing of their Call-up letters.

Prospective Corps Members that did not make payment during online registration are to start collection of the Call-up Letters from their respective institutions of graduation.

How to Print NYSC Call-Up Letters.

  • Go to NYSC portal at http://portal.nysc.org.ng.
  • Login with your registered email and password.
  • Click on ‘Print Call Up Letter’ link to access and print your call-up letter.

Note the following ahead of Commencement of the Orientation Exercise.

1) Persons who studied in Nigeria should bring to camp: Degree/HND Certificates or Statement of Results, Personal Identity Card from Institution of graduation.

Foreign graduates should bring for verification, original copies of ALL their uploaded credentials and travel documents including International passport.

2) Foreign graduates are to ensure that academic paper(s) in Languages other than English must be translated into English accordingly; both versions must be presented for verification at the camp.

3) Medical/veterinary Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Physiotherapists Nurses and Public Environmental Health graduates should bring their professional licenses or certificates of full registration issued by their professional bodies.
